Straight answer first: High Rock doesn't have a bouldering wall. We're a rope-climbing arena in Powai with walls up to 33 ft, and if you love bouldering, there's a lot here for you too.

| Bouldering | Rope climbing at High Rock | |
|---|---|---|
| Wall height | About 13–16 ft | 23, 30 and 33 ft |
| Safety | No rope, crash mats below | Harness and rope, you're lowered to the ground |
| Routes | Short, powerful "problems" | Longer routes that build endurance and technique |
| Partner | Not needed | Not needed on our 3 auto-belays |
| Best for | Power and short puzzles | First-timers, families, and climbers who want longer routes |
From yellow (4a) to black (8b), there's always a harder route to project.
Long routes train exactly what short problems don't: resting, pacing and reading the route ahead.

No. High Rock is a rope-climbing arena: you climb in a harness on walls of 23, 30 and 33 ft. There is no bouldering wall.
Bouldering is done on short walls of about 4–5 metres without ropes, above thick crash mats. Rope climbing uses a harness and rope on taller walls, so routes are longer and you never fall to the floor. Read more in our post Indoor rock climbing vs bouldering.
Yes. Longer routes build endurance, footwork and route reading, which make you a stronger boulderer too. Our routes go up to 8b, and the black and white routes will test strong climbers.
No. You can climb on our 3 auto-belay stations, which hold your rope and lower you gently when you let go.
